Welcome to Executive Image. This site is aimed at helping individuals manage personal change in employment either getting started on your own as a self employed consultant or as a Director of a small business (SME) after previously having worked for a larger company.
This change may be a result of your own choice. Perhaps a career change has been forced on you by redundancy, unsatisfactory workplace conditions or family circumstances. Many people have made the transition from employed to employer - for most there have many things to learn that they previously taken for granted. Then of course there are the administrative tasks that were previously done by someone else and now there is nobody to delegate those tasks to.
This website is not about colour of clothes, hair style, how you speak, etc. It is about your total image as a business. It is aimed at giving you a helping hand in getting going in the right direction and maximising your chances of success. We don't have all the answers but we can help you avoid the mistakes we made and share the benefit of some of our contacts.
Our experience has ranged from total trauma to calm planning in making the transition from corporate to small business. We believe we are there, but who knows what challenge is around the corner for us to learn to deal with. We know that we have learnt to do our best and we will deal head on with whatever comes using the best resources available to us.
